About Open Ordinal
Open Ordinal was born out of a vision to enhance the way we interact with the Bitcoin blockchain, aiming to make it easier to build with Ordinals for the next generation internet. Open Ordinal provides 9 different elements for builders to take advantage of: - Metadata: an extensible format designed to standardize and enhance the metadata associated with Ordinals. - Bootstrap: an on-chain JavaScript library / module that solves the immutable initial loading of a dynamic ordinal. - API: an on-chain JavaScript library / module that can be externally linked by any Ordinal to access recursive functionality and to share its internal data and functionality with an external entity. - Stitch: an on-chain JavaScript library / module and a command line tool that can split and stitch binaries to overcome the ~400 KB limit enforced by Bitcoin miners and the 4 MB block size limit. - Probe: a command line tool that can probe and analyze ordinals and report their internal workings. - Vault: an automated index of public inscribed assets / libraries inscribed on the Bitcoin chain. This includes all kinds of assets / libraries, not only the ones made by Open Ordinal. - Rarity: an online tool to get an overview of the rarity of Ordinals in Collections. - Simulator: a command line tool that can run a Bitcoin Core and Ord server and using TypeScript or JavaScript for inscribing, testing and debugging Ordinals. - Inscriber: a command line tool that can do full inscription of Ordinals using TypeScript or JavaScript.
