About OpenWater Renewables
Founded in 2024, OpenWater Renewables (OWRL) Ltd provides a fully independent consultancy service to the Offshore Renewable Energy Industry, specialising in floating systems. Our primary focus is Floating Offshore Wind (FOW) systems, where we use our accumulated experience in floating offshore systems to optimise and de-risk projects. As we have no links to any specific FOW technology, we can offer an unbiased assessment of the many different FOW concepts available, to assist Project Developers better understand the risks, opportunities and mitigations available. Our management team has over 200 years combined experience in floating offshore energy systems, and we use this expertise to support our clients in their projects, from early-stage engagement through full EPCI support as Owners Engineer. By doing so, we can reduce the risk of cost and schedule overruns, by avoiding some of the common mistakes made in this young industry. OpenWater Renewables Ltd is a partly owned subsidiary of OpenWater Group Ltd.
