About Operation Antifragile
Operation Antifragile is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering veterans and first responders to build strength, resilience, and lasting health. Founded by Marine veteran and former firefighter Matt Spaid, Operation Antifragile was created to fill the gap in care that so many warriors face after service. Our mission is to help those who serve turn stress into strength through holistic training and support that addresses the body, mind, and nervous system. We provide remote and in-person coaching, customized training programs, mobility and balance systems, breathwork and mindfulness practices, nutrition guidance, and recovery strategies. In addition, we deliver care packages with equipment and self-care resources, host wellness retreats, and maintain a growing network of certified coaches and peer support. Our approach is rooted in four pillars: Strength and Conditioning, Mobility, Nutrition, and Mental Fortitude. By combining these elements, we give our members the tools to recover from trauma, adapt to stress, and thrive both in and out of uniform. Operation Antifragile is more than a training system—it’s a community. Every program, retreat, and care package is designed to create sustainable lifestyle changes, foster connection, and restore a sense of purpose. We are building a national wellness network to ensure that no veteran or first responder has to face the weight of service alone. Our vision: A future where every veteran and first responder has access to the tools, training, and community needed to live strong, healthy, and antifragile.
