“Education is the greatest equalizer." Opportunities in Hong Kong (OIHK) is a non-profit student organization dedicated to mitigating educational inequity in Hong Kong. We believe that lack of education access is one of the main reasons for inter-generational poverty in Hong Kong. As students coming from a more privileged background, we would like to help promote access to educational opportunities with our advocacy projects, such as newsletters highlighting opportunities of the month, free homework support for ethnic minorities and English learning workshops for primary students, to narrow the gap between students from more privileged schools and those from less privileged schools.
