About Optencia

Optencia is an independent management consulting and training firm that puts energy at the heart of sustainability. We work with the leadership of public administrations, private corporations and their stakeholders to design, implement and actively monitor sustainable energy strategies. Recently, we have supported educational institutions and their students to enhance their learning experience. We review energy projects, frame business opportunities and advise on mergers, acquisitions, tenders and bids to help ensure the sustainability of energy systems. We design and run team events to explore complex issues, find innovative solutions, build alignment among diverse stakeholders and plan the transformation of ideas and potential into reality. We deliver tailored training and development as on-the-job programs or classroom lectures across the range of our core energy and management specialty areas, including: risk management; decision-based planning; energy risk; team work and integrated studies; innovation; business development. As a certified "Young Innovative Enterprise", Optencia also engages in research in related areas both as commercial ventures and non-profit partnerships. We spend time and allocate funds to support selected student projects, to test office technology that stimulates team work and enhances multi-disciplinary integration and, more generally, to pursue innovation and improvements in areas we feel we can contribute meaningfully.
