About OptioLend

In mid-2018, one of the largest private real estate owners in the United States sought out to solve a very painful problem. Whether it was acquisition or refinancing, they kept coming back to a small network of lenders to provide financing. As an experiment, they reached out to over fifty lenders in an effort to finance the purchase of a small single tenant, triple net portfolio. To their surprise and dismay, the interest rates varied as much as a full percentage point. This discovery seeded the idea for OptioLend. The goal was simple. Automate and scale their discovery. The team eventually brought in data scientists from IBM, senior software architects from Lending Tree, and commercial mortgage veterans to build out this revolutionary platform.
