About Options in Personnel (Pty)
We are a career development, employability and youth empowerment organisation with a 30 year history of success in career guidance, employability and job search training, retrenchment support and recruitment. Based on a commitment to contributing to the Career Development of South Africans, we have achieved accreditation from the QCTO to deliver an NQF Level 5 qualification to train Career Development Information Officers (CDIOs). After successfully completing the qualification, the CDIO is qualified inform groups and individuals about their career development and career pathing. CDIOs also provide guidance and counselling regarding career planning and decision making. Over the past three years, we have successfully trained over 2500 participants on the GOAL2WORK Employability Programme. This programme is specifically designed to assist learners, unemployed individuals, interns and graduates to develop a career plan, conduct a powerful job search, enhance employability and successfully enter the world of work. We have also capacitated several SME’s to deliver this training in rural communities. In addition to traditional contact-session training, all of our programmes are available in fully virtual or blended formats. Our Learner Management System (LMS), allows participants access to learning content anywhere, anytime and includes animated e-learning, gamification, live virtual classroom sessions, master classes, forums, online simulations and assessments. Our retrenchment support services and job search programmes have been designed specifically for retrenched individuals or groups and assists those affected by retrenchment in dealing with the stressful experience of losing a job, re-orienting to the job market, managing an effective job search and handling the transition to a new job or career.
