About Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation
The Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation is an all volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green to raise the funds needed to translate her cancer treatments from the laboratory into humans. Dr. Green is a multi-disciplinary physicist who specializes in targeted cancer therapeutics, using laser-activated nanoparticles and immunotherapies to develop biomarker-specific platforms to target, image, and treat malignant tumors. Her expertise lies at the intersection of immunotherapy and precision medicine. Dr. Green developed several cancer treatment platforms that have not shown side effects in mice, a preliminary study to humans. One treatment completely eliminates tumors in mice over 15 days after a single 10-minute treatment. Another treatment involves cutting edge technology to target, image, and treat cancer. Within 3-5 years, we plan to demonstrate that Dr. Green's photo-nano-therapy is a multi-cancer treatment for a variety of tumors types including breast, colorectal, ovarian, skin, cervical, pancreatic, bladder, lung, brain, anal, prostate, head and neck cancers. Long term, we plan to medical devices and provide cancer patients with a low cost, outpatient treatment with minimal side effects as a solution when the traditional interventions of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation are not effective. The mission of the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation is to change the way cancer is treated and reduce human suffering by providing cancer care that is accessible, affordable, and effective. 100% of donations support the translation of Dr. Green's cancer treatments into humans, including the cost of manufacturing human-grade materials and conducting clinical trials. With your financial support, we can realize this dream together and translate these treatments from the laboratory to humans. For more information and to support, visit OraLee.org.
