About Orange Beak Studio
Orange Beak Studio was founded in 2017. We are an award-winning team of children’s book creatives. We are experienced in making picture books and fiction through to non fiction. We include illustrators, designers and editors, based in Hull, Manchester, London, UK and Berlin, Germany. Orange Beak Studio was founded from a desire to work closely with illustrators, to share knowledge and offer insight and encouragement for creatives, outside of the university setting. Orange Beak tutors have varied and complementary skills and we are all practicing specialists in their fields, with teaching experience at post graduate level. We work with clients at all stages of their development, from beginners looking to enter the illustration world, to students, graduates and established illustrators hoping to refine their practice.
