The Orchard is an internationally accredited drug and alcohol recovery center located on Bowen Island, 20 minutes from West Vancouver by ferry. We provide a full range of therapies designed to address the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of our clients. Our staff to client ratio and non-institutional environment set us apart. The Orchard’s professional, compassionate staff has been assisting our clients take personal responsibility for their ongoing recovery and helping them rebuild their lives since 2002. Orchard Recovery is a private, secluded, residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment center surrounded by gorgeous West Coast rainforest. We offer programs ranging from 10-90+ days, starting with medically assisted detox in Primary Care. In addition to our diverse treatment program of holistic therapy (including group therapy, individual counselling, yoga, personal training, art therapy, music therapy, and more), we offer fresh and delicious chef-prepared food, a 2,800 sq ft fitness facility, and seasonal swimming pool. As an agent of social and cultural change, the Orchard Recovery Center has taken a lead role in the North American recovery advocacy movement. Besides contributing to the passage of parliamentary bills and influencing public policy, the Orchard has also been resourceful, advancing research, introducing new technology within the industry, and rethinking detoxification protocols. By educating the public and collaborating with hospital fellowships, the Orchard is helping to train the addiction doctors of tomorrow, thereby raising the profile and standards of addiction recovery programs nationwide.
