About Organic Growers Alliance
The Organic Growers Alliance (OGA) was set up by a group of organic growers in the UK, to support and represent growers of all size who wish to produce their crops organically. It was formed at the Organic Producer conference in December 2006. We publish a quarterly journal, The Organic Grower, written for growers by growers, which keeps members up to date with issues that affect their livelihoods as well as containing articles of a more practical nature. We are very active in supporting the organic apprenticeship program and help facilitate their placements and training. We organise and run the growers sessions at the Organic Research Centre’s annual Producers Conference. We also run open days on member’s holdings for the benefit of new and existing growers alike.
