ORIANTHEATRE is a French contemporary dance & physical theatre company under artistic supervision of the Iranian-French choreographer: Mehdi Farajpour. ORIAN - In Persian language- refers to the notion of nudity, which is not only related to the body, but to the purity too, thus to the truth. ORIANTHEATRE is focused on building a new choreographic language that stands on the border of different art forms without entering into any frame. Dance, Theatre, Poetry, Installation, Video, Sound are major forms in most of our performances. ORIANTHEATRE with 10 shows produced, has been touring in most of EU countries as well as in Asia and South America. Very often, the company is co-producing performances in partnership with both French & foreign companies, Dance schools and festivals.
