About Originally Speaking - Communications Development
I have many years experience as a professional public speaker. I started out as a stand-up comedian and segued comedy into motivational humor after using humor to overcome challenges in my personal and professional life. I share the importance of using humor in business and the role humor has played in the work place and the benefits of laughter in life. Whether you need a 45 minute keynote or after-dinner speaker, a 90 minute break-out session or a full-day or half-day workshop/seminar, the presentations involve the audience. I will work with your or a representative from the organization to ensure the presentation is personalized and relevant and I am speaking to and deliver content appropriate to your agenda. I strive to deliver entertaining, dynamic, and informative speeches on the importance and benefits of laughter in various areas of our lives. In 2001, "Due to his professionalism and outstanding achievements in public speaking," I was awarded the title of Accredited Speaker, becoming only the 50th person in the world to achieve this designation. My show business background gives me a commanding stage presence. My parents were regarded as one of the funniest comedy/variety acts of their time. I started out by performing stand-up comedy at the age of twelve at the Disneyland Hotel. I went on to entertain at comedy clubs, conventions, and various business organizations. After graduating from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a Bachelor's degree in Communications, I segued comedy into public speaking. Recently George published the "Take Two Laughs and Call Me in the Morning" workbook as a companion to his presentation.
