originalprojects; is an artist-led collaboration currently being led by Kaavous Clayton and Julia Devonshire in Great Yarmouth. ABOUT US: originalprojects; is the only artist-led organisation delivering quality contemporary art in Great Yarmouth. Established in 2002 (revived in 2016), the organisation has developed a distinctive approach to working with contemporary artists and communities in Great Yarmouth, exploring relationships between generosity and creativity to co-create ambitious objects, experiences and developmental opportunities that respond to the place and people. Our projects unlock creative opportunities supporting everyone to learn new skills, build confidence and thrive through experiencing sustainable and pioneering great art. VISION: Art, artists and communities innovating in Great Yarmouth and changing the world for the better. MISSION: Embedded in our community we develop cultural capacity, forging enabling environments through artist-led activity for and with the people of Great Yarmouth. We unlock creative opportunities for everyone to thrive through taking part in sustainable and pioneering great art. CHARITY’S OBJECTS: To promote and encourage public participation in and appreciation of the arts in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding area in particular but not exclusively by the production of public art projects, events and workshops.
