This innovative simulator makes it simple, cost-effective and fun for clinicians to develop the skills needed to use a flexible bronchoscope, particularly when dealing with difficult airways. SAFE: The ORSIM® Bronchoscopy Simulator was developed to respond to the critical need for anesthesiologists to practice bronchoscopy skills before they step into real life situations. Airway problems account for 40% of all complications in anaesthesia, so it is essential that airway practitioners are skilled when using the flexible bronchoscope. Both learners and experienced clinicians safely develop and maintain skills without risk or discomfort to patients. INNOVATIVE: Our innovative technology with high-definition graphics (software), along with our replica bronchoscope (hardware), creates an immersive learning experience which is realistic and fun. Scenarios include retropharyngeal abscess, vocal cord cyst, penetrating neck injury and many more. COMPACT: This compact and portable learning device can be carried easily and set-up in minutes. The ORSIM® Bronchoscopy Simulator is now used by 1000s of clinicians in leading medical and educational institutions in over 25 countries worldwide. The ORSIM® Bronchoscopy Simulator is made by Airway Simulation Limited, a New Zealand company founded in 2010. The company is led by Dr Paul Baker, an anaesthesiologist and international leader in airway management.
