About Orthoforge

Orthoforge, Inc. is a pre-clinical development stage medical device company that is using its patented ultrasound-based technology to measure the healing stage of bone and soft tissues following an injury. Ultrasound is a proven technology that has been used in medicine for decades. Using ultrasound waves to monitor healing progress does not expose patients or healthcare providers to radiation (X-Ray, CT Scan and MRI all expose individuals to radiation). Analyzing ultrasound signals provides a quantifiable reading that doctors can use to assess healing progress in bone and soft tissue injuries. Our first application of this technology will be to identify and analyze the healing of long bone fractures (Thigh, shin, fingers, arm, etc.). Future applications to analyze other bone and soft tissue injuries are in development. Bone and soft tissues have unique properties that can be differentiated by sound waves.
