Orthotix was established in 2004 to enable improved public access to a range of class 1 medical devices. This OTS product portfolio now includes orthopaedic supports, splints & bracing, podiatry consumables, insoles & specialist footwear. Originally set up in the South Wales valley town of Merthyr Tydfil, the business has expanded significantly since its inception, adding further offices and warehouses to its main site in Cardiff. To this day, Orthotix remains a family owned and run business and is proud to be flying the flag for Wales in the orthotic sector. Now operating as an omni-channel business supplying a diverse range of products direct to NHS hospitals, B2B, sports organisations and direct to the public via retail hubs and online platforms across the UK and Ireland. The Orthotix product range continues to diversify, offering an orthotic solution for the entire family whether it be a sporting injury or an orthopaedic pathology. The range encompasses all regions of the body, from head to toe with all products being certified as Class 1 medical devices and are UKCA & CE marked accordingly. Orthotix fabricates a collection of products at its Welsh manufacturing facility and also benefits from exclusive UK distribution agreements with market leading global brands like Orliman, Pavis, Ribcap and Fitville. Orthotix benefits from an in-house team of healthcare professionals (Orthotists, Podiatrists and Physiotherapists) which enables continual development, trialing and testing of new and innovative products for the future. Orthotix is thrilled to currently be the official supplier of sports and orthopaedic bracing to the following elite organisations; NHS, Welsh Athletics, Cardiff City Football Club, Welsh Netball and Disability Sport Wales.
