Ossekeag Publishing was started in 2001 when Debbie Hickey, with her husband Mike, purchased the Hampton Herald. Over the last thirteen years we have stayed true to our mission of delivering community events and news thanks to the support of our readers and advertisers. Our mission is to promote an active and involved lifestyle within these communities. Ossekeag Publishing has been awarded several times for it's involvement in the community. For advertisers who wish to reach customers who put local first, Ossekeag is the ideal partner. Telling the stories of our community is what we do on a daily basis. By reaching out to the people who make our communities come alive, we influence a positive dialogue and the businesses who advertise with us benefit from this community support. Ossekeag understands how to reach audiences and build community online and we share that expertise and guidance with the businesses who support us by helping advertisers navigate the complicated web of online local advertising and brand development. In addition to our thoughtfully curated online channels, Ossekeag Publishing also produces four community magazines featuring local news and events.
