About OT Works!

OT Works! is a team of occupational therapists that provides individualized, community-based rehabilitation to clients in their homes, workplaces and communities. We specialize in the treatment of people who have been in motor vehicle accidents, work place accidents, or whose abilities are impacted by disability or illness, i.e. patients with neurological, orthopaedic, and psychological difficulties, including brain injury, repetitive strain injuries, fractures, soft tissue injuries, chronic pain, anxiety and depression. We consistently combine an understanding of the client’s experience with objective, functional information and medical opinion, to facilitate a meaningful and successful recovery. We provide active-based, goal-driven, client-centred therapy that considers the whole person. OT Works! provides a wide range of services, including, but not limited to: • Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) • In-home assessments • Equipment prescription • Home modifications • Community-based rehabilitation, eg. cognitive remediation, transit assessments, desensitization to anxiety-provoking environments and activities • Ergonomic assessments • Workplace accommodations • Return to work planning • Job demands analyses (for physical, cognitive and emotional challenges) • Case coordination We provide the highest quality of care to all of our customers through building solid working relationships, maintaining excellent communication, and using best practices.
