Since 2021 I have worked as an independent practioner as an associate for well-known providers of neuro rehabilitation, as well as directly with case managers or private individuals. In 2023 I completed my MSc in Clinical and Developmental Neuropsychology, expanding my skills in assessing and supporting the psychological aspects of brain injury recovery. I use a holistic approach - learning about an individual and combining my knowledge and experience of neurological condition to create a person-centred and effective approach to recovery or condition management. Attention to detail enables me to bring together the essential elements of the task, the environment, the individual and their goals in order to promote success. I Feel that forming an effective working relationship is key. I will get to know what motivates my client and what makes sense to them, enabling maximum engagement and ultimately more success in working towards goals. As an independent practitioner I am able to focus on my CPD as my business model allows me to prioritise training, networking and keeping up with developments in research, therefore ensuring I continue to work in line with the latest evidence base.
