Oterus Biosystems is on a mission to make in vitro fertilization (IVF) accessible to many more families by making it more predictable and less expensive (requiring fewer cycles for success). Our approach is based on the existing process, but introduces modifications to embryo culture and embryo transfer in a way that addresses the two key failure points of IVF: embryo quality (embryo selection) and uterine receptivity. Our technology will introduce a first-of-its-kind test of functional competency for embryos and couple it with a unique transfer technique that ensures ample opportunity for embryo implantation into the uterus.
