About Otter Creek Music Festival
Since 1979, Otter Creek Music Festival has presented chamber music of all kinds in the heart of the Champlain Valley. Originally called the Salisbury Summer Performance Series, OCMF held its summer-long concert series at the historic Salisbury Meetinghouse in the eponymous hamlet on the shores of Lake Dunmore. In 2023, OCMF obtained fiscal sponsorship with BARN OPERA in Brandon, VT. Through this new partnership, OCMF was able to not only reach a broader audience, but develop infrastructure to become sustainable well into the future. Performance highlights include the annual faculty recitals from Point Counterpoint Camp, appearances by Metropolitan Opera soprano Meredith Parsons, and the last public performance by legendary cellist Elsa Hilger.
