About Our Children's Place
When The Coordinated Child Development Program (CCDP) manages Our Children's Place centers and was first incorporated in 1973; the only site at 55 Wilcox Lane, had an enrollment of 15 preschoolers and is now licensed for 112 children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. In 1989 Our Children’s Place of Clifton Springs was opened in collaboration with Clifton Spring Hospital and Clinic. It is currently licensed for 136 children and is now located in the educational wing of the United Methodist Church of Clifton Springs. The site offers childcare services to children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Head Start programming and Universal Pre-K classes through the Clifton Springs School District is also available at this site. In September of 2001 the school age program at the Canandaigua site out grew its space and moved to a new location at the Veteran’s Administration complex on Fort Hill Avenue in Canandaigua. This site provides activities for school-age children (5 to 12 yrs.) before and after school hours, half days, superintendent days, school holidays and summer vacations. In the summer of 2012 the program moved back to the 55 Wilcox Lane location. In April of 2010 Our Children’s Place of Stanley was opened in the Marcus Whitman school district. This program provides activities for school-age children ages 5 to 12 yrs before and after school, half days and superintendent days. Today CCDP has grown into a program employing over 8\50 staff and serving close to 300 children at these four locations.
