About Our Table

Our Table offers opportunities for meaningful and intentional connection for women through in-person gatherings. Hosted at local eateries and women-owned businesses as a way to explore the hidden gems of Western New York, Our Table events include carefully curated 3-course conversation, food, and drink menus. Buffalo native and Our Table Founder, Laura Kane-Punyon was inspired to start this mission to support women who are experiencing burn-out and are searching for transformative self-care. While electronic communication is an incredible tool to stay connected, she realizes just how many people are yearning for the alchemy that exists within face-to-face gatherings and intimate social connection. Laura explains, “As a woman, professional, and a mom, I often feel like I carry the entire world on my shoulders. When I am gifted with the opportunity to be in community with other women, I am struck not only by our shared struggle, but also by our collective instinct to offer one another a sense of belonging – the gift of feeling seen, heard and most importantly, cared for." Our Table gatherings are for any self identifying woman who is longing for deeper, more meaningful connection in her life, regardless of her life stage, profession, martial or parental status. "I believe that the more diverse the group, the richer and the conversation. As I invite women to gather around Our Table, I am discovering the myriad of ways we convince ourselves that we do not belong - "I am not married, I am too young, I am a mom, I am not a mom, I am too old..." But each of us has a story to tell and that story is valuable - it has a key that will open a door in our hearts and minds.
