Out of the Blue Theatre Company is a student theatre group on UCLA campus specializing in experimental, unconventional, and innovative theater. As a company, we strive to push the bounds of what theatre is and what theatre can be. We aim to create an inclusive space for all artists and audiences to challenge the theatrical and societal norms in new and creative ways. Challenging what theatre is and what theatre can be. Out of the Blue has produced beautiful new student work such as Big Rock by Preston Schoenherr and Tristan Brousseau, You Never Existed by Sheldon Skoboloff, and The C Word by Sarah Lina Sparks. The company has also produced reinterpreted and modernized pieces of theater like Oedipus, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Bright Star.
