About Out Of Town Productions

Out of Town Productions is comprised of four founder members who are Drama graduates of Royal Holloway, University of London. Our first Edinburgh production was Chatroom in 2013, which received several positive reviews and was successful at the box office, selling out the last performance. Since then, we have been invited to take the production to Sick! Festival in Brighton and another performing arts and film festival later in 2014. There is also an educational tour in the pipeline, bringing the social issues of bullying and cyber safety to life for school children through drama. This came after the success of several university productions, including Frozen, which met with acclaim from staff and students alike. Other company members are both graduates and students working with us in various capacities as writers, actors, producers, and workshop facilitators. We produce contemporary issue-based plays in our cutting edge style way using multimedia scenographic elements. Our work is bound together by the exploration of the question: "What makes people do things that others cannot understand?"
