About Outta Puff Daddys

We are the Outta Puff Daddys...a bunch of Dads that get Outta Puff dancing, from Brighton, UK. First meeting in 2012 after taking our own kids to street dance lessons and we have been dancing ever since - creating fun routines that embrace the humour of ‘Dad Dancing’. As a group of men, our camaraderie and friendship goes far beyond just dancing. We have supported each other through various personal tragedies and challenges - our bond provides a real lifeline for our own mental wellness. We break through all stereotypes surrounding traditional masculinity, encouraging others to talk openly about their mental health. In some shape or form mental health impacts everyone globally, and yet the stigma still causes so much shame, fear, doubt, isolation and misunderstanding. Until we start to view mental health in the same way we view our physical health, we’ll continue to face the devastating consequences caused by stigma. Via our social media accounts, live performances and motivational Talks, we actively promote improved mental health strategies - encouraging others to: 1. Break the stigma surrounding the subject so that we normalise mental health related conversations. 2. Put support groups around ourselves where we feel comfortable and free to talk openly, knowing we’ll be greeted with non-judgemental empathy. 3. Engage in regular positive activities that constantly support, nurture and underpin our on-going health (mental and physical). Now reaching millions of social media accounts globally per month, we regularly receive heartwarming messages detailing the positive impact we have made. It is amazing to know we are truly making a difference and our content highlights the positive good that we can all make to other peoples lives. But...there is more work to be done. Our mission is to spread joy, positivity and to encourage change in society's approach to mental health. Transforming lives for the better…one dance step at a time!
