The hearing industry has seen a decline in independent ownership which has had a negative impact on patients as the quality of service and choice provided by big box companies and large retail chains is simply not the same as an independent clinic can provide. THN was started by Peter Mahabir who has over 25 years’ experience in manufacturing and sales. “The one thing which stood out to me was that independent hearing clinics need help in marketing to be competitive” Says Peter, President of THN. “Mainstream and digital media is not an option because it is either too expensive, not enough time, or no experience and staff available. This can and must be changed!” The Hearing Network is calling on all independent hearing clinic owners to join and support or efforts to deliver a combined marketing strategy. As a part of this network each independent clinic will have the voice and reach to compete against big box stores and manufacturer owned retail. As the network grows, so too will the business of the members in it.
