Our corporate success story begins in Amorbach in Lower Franconia on 24th September 1948. We reformed the market for ceiling systems under the name “Holzfaserplattenwerk Odenwald GmbH”. Driven by entrepreneurial courage and determination, we continuously further developed our processes and products so that ultimately, with the introduction of the OWA brand, we were able to lay the foundations of our current positioning. Since 1964, the name OWA has stood for ceiling systems in almost every application area and has continued to evolve into the generic name for leading ceiling systems in terms of technology and design. We do this by developing and supplying innovative and sustainable room concepts for the application areas of Education, Office, Sport& Leisure, Retail, Hotel & Gastronomy, Health, and Manufacturing and Production.
