About Oxford Launch

Oxford Launch is a non-profit organisation run by members of Oxford Internet Professionals. We organise an annual weekend-long, hands-on event, held at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. We offers well-organised sessions where entrepreneurs and startups can explore the viability of their ideas, supported and guided by industry executives and startup experts. If you have a business idea that you're keen to develop and would you like the chance to pitch that idea to room full of talented experts with the opportunity to win a support team to work with you on developing your idea over an entire weekend, then join us at the Oxford Launch weekend from 21st to 23rd November, 2014. Our weekend kicks off on Friday with pitches from aspiring entrepreneurs. Winning pitches with the best ideas will be selected by the audiences, and teams will then be formed to develop those ideas to launch by the end of the weekend. The teams will focus on researching the market, identifying consumers, practicing LEAN startup methodologies and building a minimum viable product. The weekend will culminate with demonstrations to a panel of judges. Prizes for the best ideas include the chance to meet with angel investors, free mentoring sessions, web hosting, legal advice and much more.
