About Oxford University Photography Society
The Oxford University Photography Society supports and inspires students and members of the university to take better photos through an engaging program of weekly photography classes, photo sharing sessions, photo walks and guest speaker events each term. Classes dive into the core skills involved in creating a good photo, ranging from the basics of composition, to more advanced topics like off-camera studio lighting, to suit photographers of all skill and experience levels. Meanwhile, photo sharing sessions invite members to share photos that they have taken and receive insightful feedback and critique of their images from other members of the club in an informal setting. The aim is to make photography an accessible hobby that anyone can get involved with. Photography isn't all about having fancy gear: it's about how you use it.
