Ozgene is now able to complete projects in less than 6 months. Whilst, Ozgene is an Australian company, 80% of their clients are located overseas and shipments leave the Ozgene facility almost daily for laboratories, small academic institutions, research institutes, biotechnology companies and multinational pharmaceutical companies in the US, Europe, Asia, South America and New Zealand. CEO and Co-founder, Dr Frank Koentgen, and the Ozgene team have over 20 years of experience in the generation of genetically modified mice. It begins even before Ozgene was born, when Dr Koentgen generated the first knockout mouse from the C57BL/6 mouse strain in 1993. Work has been published in scientific journals such as Cell, Nature, Science, Immunity, PNAS and Nature Medicine.
