Previously poultry and arable farming, P. Cliff & Sons Ltd was established by Peter Cliff over 20 years ago primarily focussed on the repair and servicing of Agricultural machinery. Today, after continual expansion, the business has grown to offer a mixed range of services to not only the agricultural sector but plant, waste, domestic and commercial ground care, food processing, quarrying, and manufacturing industries. We specialize in the mechanical repair, servicing, and modification of light to heavy machinery, ranging from fueling to transmission and hydraulic issues. We are also able to offer an on-site breakdown service covering Cheshire and surrounding counties with our 3 fully tooled support vehicles. Supplementing our mobile service, we also offer on-site mobile coded MMA and MIG welding to ISO9606 specification, plasma and oxy-acetylene cutting, complete fabrication solutions, hydraulic hose crimping, vehicle electrical repairs, and complete fleet maintenance. We also offer the collection, repair and servicing of Quads, ATV's, compact tractors, and ground care equipment, along with the sales of new Farmtrac tractors. A major part of our business includes the repair and reconditioning of hydraulic cylinder rams. Stocking over 5,000 ram seals, and a huge range of both metric and imperial chrome rods, we are able to offer an in-house rod replacement, machining, and welding service with a 24 - 48 hour ram turnaround in certain cases. Pressure and durability testing on our specialist hydraulic rig ensure all rams are returned with a full guarantee. Other in-house services we offer include Fabrication, CNC milling, CNC lathe turning, and 3D CAD design/development using the latest SolidWorks package.
