About P.S. I Love You Foundation

The P.S. I Love You Foundation (psiloveyoufoundation.org) was established in 1998 with the mission to empower and inspire at-risk youth in Los Angeles by teaching skills to help them in their everyday lives, to reduce stress, to help them develop healthy minds and to build positive attitudes towards themselves and others. The P.S. I Love You Foundation believes if children develop strong emotional, physical and social well-being skills early in life, this can prevent children from growing up depressed, violent, turning to gangs for support, dropping out of school, or using drugs to cope. The foundation currently reaches over 700 at-risk youth a year through enrichment programs, in-school mentor programs and annual community events which provide volunteer opportunities for individuals looking for a way to give back. The P.S. I Love You Foundation is a grass-roots organization, managed by its Board of Directors and run by volunteers with no paid staff members. Currently over 200 volunteers give of their time throughout the year to ensure that the P.S. I Love You message of health and well-being, positive attitudes, and hope continues to thrive.
