About P70 Foundation

At the beginning of 2018, the Paralelo 70 Foundation was created by Federico Arcos Zafra, with the aim to develop the Nomads project. An own international project, in which natural environment social and cultural heritage conservation is promoted through audiovisual communication. Paralelo 70 Foundation is the result of experience accumulated over 20 years, through 50 countries and many remote areas of the world, the experience of living with nomads and the achievement of several editorial and personal projects, particularly after Nepal earthquake, in 2015. NOMADS is a documentary film series that during the next decade will portray the last vestiges of a society that, together with its habitat and biodiversity, is disappearing due to the implacable progress of our development. Through different projects wewill document tribes from all over the planet, from Kamchatka to Amazonia, who survive in a world, with new rules, in which they have been left behind. A team composed of photographers, anthropologists, climbers and scientists will portray the current situation of each nomadic people and its natural environment, in an effort to try to understand our own development and the taxes we pay for it.
