About Pace Uwcsea
PACE (Parents Action for Community and Education) is a dynamic parent service organisation at United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA) dedicated to upholding the UWC Mission of making education a force for uniting people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. Fully funded and managed by UWCSEA parents, PACE was established in 2001 by one parent as a means to provide scholarships for a few children. Today with the support of more than 100 parent volunteers and donors, PACE is playing a pivotal role in transforming hundreds of lives through education. Empowering through Education: In partnership with two NGO's - Cahaya Surya Bakti in Malaysia and Lihuk in the Philippines - PACE supports life-changing education initiatives for marginalised children. By providing secondary education for young Rohingya refugees in Malaysia and funding education and nutrition for children living in slums in the Philippines, we are creating pathways out of statelessness and poverty. Uniting through Action: We believe in living the UWC mission alongside our children. Through a range of social and service initiatives PACE brings together UWCSEA parents, alumni, and families to create lasting impact and nurture a culture of compassion and service. Our vibrant calendar of social activities such as heritage walks and bike rides creates opportunities for parents to connect and explore Singapore. Our local volunteer program includes beach clean-ups, preparing meals for migrant workers, and escorting children from low-income families to the supermarket to buy food. Discover the power of education and community with PACE! Join us today and be a part of something truly special. Together, we can inspire hope and create a brighter future.
