About Pacific Autism Learning Services
Pacific Autism Learning Services (PALS) specializes in early intensive behavioral therapy for children with autism-spectrum diagnoses. PALS serves clients locally in the greater Sacramento area, Placer and Solano Counties, and the greater San Francisco Bay Area. We also provide workshop consultation to families outside our local area. In addition to early intensive behavioral intervention, we also provide specialized services, including functional analysis, individual educational assessment, professional development services, and short-term consultation focused on reducing disruptive and maladaptive behaviors. PALS' clinical director, Dr. Gregory Buch, began in the field as a graduate student over 25 years ago, at the UCLA Young Autism Project under the supervision of Dr. Ivar Lovaas. All PALS program directors have worked with Dr. Buch continuously upon entering the field - most for 10-15 years - and have received all of their training and supervision from him directly.
