Hawaiʻi’s Largest Network and Central Resource for Long-Term Rental Housing Pacific Housing Association (PHA) is Hawaiʻi’s leading nonprofit dedicated to strengthening and supporting our state’s long-term rental housing industry. As the only organization of its kind, we bring together professionals, resources, and training to elevate rental housing across the affordable, workforce, and market-rate spectrum. Locally founded and nationally connected, PHA represents over 20,000 rental units across Oʻahu, Maui, and Hawaiʻi Island. From LIHTC and HUD-financed housing to conventional multifamily and single-family rentals, we serve as the central connector between compliance, operations, education, and development. As Hawaiʻi’s official affiliate of the National Apartment Association (NAA), our members gain access to national-scale certification programs, operational tools, learning platforms, and industry data. We are also proud partners of the Affordable Housing Management Association of Northern California & Hawaiʻi (AHMA-NCH), the regional arm of NAHMA, representing over 75% of the nation’s affordable housing. By elevating Hawaiʻi’s rental housing industry, PHA helps address the state’s housing crisis—supporting the growth of high-quality, long-term homes for residents of all income levels.
