Pacific Medicare Limited is a privately owned company that delivers top quality emergency care and life guarding training and competitively priced emergency care equipment throughout the South Pacific and greater Pacific / Asia region. Pacific Medicare personnel have been providing training to schools, tourism operators and professional companies including fire, ambulance, defence and disaster relief services and providing emergency care, trauma management and hospital supplies in New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa, USA and Fiji for over 3 years, and customised trauma kits, first aid and PHEC courses to the UN Offices and NGOs in the Asia, Pacific and Middle East. Pacific Medicare differentiates its courses and trainers from other emergency care training providers in 2 areas - there is a high level of practical – hands on sessions – based around tailored scenarios and work stations to build confidence , familiarity and competence in core areas and English as a second language as the basis for all course resources and teaching delivery. All trainers have significant education delivery backgrounds – they are teachers vs. trainers. All staff are able to manage groups of diverse individuals and cultures respectfully, with sensitivity, and identify areas where assistance is required through interaction and observation.
