About Page 15
Page 15 transforms young lives through the power of words! Since 2008, Page 15’s year-round programs support children of all abilities to gain valuable literacy skills, discover their own unique voice, and write their own future. Page 15 offers programs in three key areas: daily after-school literacy enrichment; publishing and performance opportunities; and innovative literacy camps. Founded in 2008, Page 15 is the legacy of the Urban Think! Bookstore, which served as Orlando’s only independent bookstore from 2001 to 2010. Today, the Urban Think Foundation serves as an umbrella organization to Page 15. The name Page 15 was inspired by the program founder’s grandmother’s rule of thumb that “When reading a book, you must read until page 15 before you decide whether to keep going or to choose a different story.”
