About Pagets Builders Merchants
Pagets is one of the leading independent builders merchants in Sheffield. We stock a huge range of building and landscaping materials as well as being able to order many more products direct from manufacturers. The company has been run by the same family for over 40 years. The owner, Belinda Anglin, is the third generation of the family to take over the business. Pagets was founded by Charles Henry Paget and his business partner Lawrence Garner, who were both plumber merchants. The business (under the name C Paget and Co Limited) commenced trading in Sheffield in 1957 and ran as a combined plumbers and builders merchant business for a number of years. In 1975, Belinda’s father and grandfather (Mr William Barlow and Mr Frank J Kershaw) bought the company and started trading from Infirmary Road in Sheffield. Belinda worked at the Infirmary Road site to earn pocket money! Over subsequent years Pagets went from strength to strength, expanding in the late 1980’s to include a much larger site at Broadfield Road, Heeley. This became the company’s Head Office. Pagets Builders Merchants now trades in the Sheffield area from both our Infirmary Road and Broadfield Road sites, serving the local building trade and the general public.
