About Pai Seedlings Foundation

Pai Seedlings Foundation is a non-profit organization (Public Charity) in Northern Thailand, rooted in the belief that regeneration is possible when people, land, and communities thrive together. We work at the intersection of ecological restoration, community empowerment, and regenerative education, supporting smallholder farmers, children, and local leaders to create systems that care for both nature and people. At the heart of our work is our permaculture farm: a living classroom and R&D center where we explore regenerative practices, test organic methods, and welcome children, farmers, and visitors to learn directly from nature. The farm not only serves as a model of sustainable land stewardship but also helps us embody the natural lifestyle we thrive for in our everyday life. Our initiatives include: Regenerative farming – supporting farmers in their transition to organic, chemical-free practices that improve soil health, biodiversity, and food security. Community enterprise – building fair and transparent local businesses that generate sustainable income, from farm products to eco-tourism initiatives. Education for regeneration – creating workshops, school programs, and place-based learning experiences that connect people to nature’s wisdom and life’s operating system. Through partnerships with farmers, schools, foundations, and regional networks, Pai Seedlings Foundation acts as a bridge between grassroots knowledge and global regenerative movements. Our participatory approach ensures that farmers co-design solutions, children learn through hands-on experience, and communities lead their own path toward resilience. We believe regeneration is more than restoring ecosystems—it means reviving trust, strengthening cultural roots, and creating futures where families can live with dignity. From a seed planted in Pai, our vision grows outward: healthy soils, empowered communities, and a shared movement for regenerative change across the region.
