About PainQx
PainQx is a Philadelphia based startup that has developed a way of objectively measuring pain in humans. PainQx is able to accomplish this by reading EEG waves from a patient's brain and running the data through it’s proprietary algorithm to produce a pain score consistent with the VAS System. The PainQx system is currently being used as a clinical assessment tool in the research market for use as a scaled pain biomarker and placebo responder screen. Strong IP Position Proven results in human clinical setting Experienced scientific team Confirms the actual level of acute pain in patients Guides appropriate treatment to avoid the over or under prescription of analgesics Measures pain patient populations that cannot accurately articulate or express pain
