I became a Virtual Assistant in 2016, and I haven’t looked back! My first "grown up" job was as a front desk receptionist at a small law firm in Salem, Oregon. Over the course of thirteen years I worked my way up from front desk receptionist, to legal secretary, to office manager. I learned a great deal about the business world while working at that law office; I also became a wife and a mother. In 2004 our small family moved to the Portland, Oregon area and I took a weekend job working as the front desk receptionist at an assisted living facility. The hours were 8 am to 8 pm Saturday and Sunday, and there often was not a lot of work to keep me busy. I volunteered my services to various department heads; sorting and filing paperwork, data entry, inventory. What I most enjoyed though was helping people to organize their thoughts, ideas, and information so that they could move forward on their projects. In 2006 our growing family moved to my husband's hometown of Tacoma, Washington; just 30 miles south of Seattle. The business world took a back seat to diapers, playdates, trips to the zoo, and homeschooling, but I was never lacking in opportunities to help. I volunteered with our church's youth ministry, on the board of our homeschool co-op group, and on the board of our neighborhood homeowner's association. In 2016 I decided to dust off my keyboard and get back into the business world. I started by providing virtual assistant services to a small group of clients, and over the years increased my professional skill set and began providing online business management services. I support small and growing businesses by offering them the support they need to succeed, at extremely competitive prices.
