The My Maths Buddy Training Program is our flagship program. Learning with full UNDERSTANDING = QUALITY EDUCATION and this is what My Maths Buddy training and resources help to achieve. Our key goal is UNDERSTANDING because understanding brings RESULTS. The My Maths Buddy Program for teachers is SACE (South African Council of Educators) accredited and we have to date had over 1000 teachers through this program so far with great results. Teachers on our program acquire professional skills allowing them to restore learners love for Maths and ability to not only understand Maths fully but also retain the information learned and thus improve their results. Our My Maths Buddy learners program is designed to help a learner handle their confusion of Maths and demystify the believe that Maths is a difficult and not interesting subject. The below is important information to consider: The Organisation for Economic Co-operation in Europe (OECD) found that Maths results directly impact the economic well-being of a nation, which reflects in the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) They showed – based on their investigation – that where the Maths results are steadily declining, the country has a steadily declining economy or GDP. And in those countries where Maths results were good the economy was benefiting, and the GDP was growing. It’s not to say that it’s only Maths that causes it, but it has a significant effect on any economy. Mathematics is an important subject and we need as many children to do well in this subject as possible so that we create more professionals who then can reverse the economic down trends we are currently experiencing.
