Palmers are one of the oldest names in the scaffolding sector, formed 1880. We have extensive experience in the design, supply, erect, hire and dismantling of scaffolding structures for the majority of major industries, from fast track construction projects to industrial, rail & airports. Our expertise includes the use of both traditional tube and fittings and system scaffolds incorporating the use of metal decking in preference to conventional timber boards. Additionally, our portfolio also includes the use of specifically designed aluminium structures which have been utilised by our customers in weight sensitive areas on major projects for example within the Heathrow Airport Carlisle, St Pancras and Waterloo station projects. For more than 140 years, Palmers Scaffolding UK Ltd have provided a quality scaffolding service to all industries – working on some of the most important sites and prestigious projects within the construction, railway, airport, petrochemical, power generation, offshore fabrication, marine, and nuclear market sectors. Palmers are regularly rated in the top 12 of UK scaffolding firms and have become specialists in long term industrial service maintenance contracts and fast track construction projects. Palmers Scaffolding UK Ltd are pre-qualified as a second tier sub-contractor to work with many of the UK’s top principal contractors and suppliers.
