PALMETAL Armazenagem e Serviços, S.A. is established at Autoeuropa’s Industrial Park in Palmela, with a total covered area of 21.000 m2 in three heated warehouses. We are a logistics services company, specialized in materials handling, storage, pre-assembly, quality control, maintenance, stock and packaging management, and special logistics projects. We have a private railway, overhead cranes with a capacity of up to 40 Ton and forklifts with variable capacities up to 32 Ton. In addition, we have trailers and tractors for up to 50 tons capacity for local distribution. We are responsible for ensuring the reception, storage and delivery of our customers' products, including the transportation of steel coils and stamping tools (dies). We receive, control and deliver the products in sequence or kanban, or as required by customers We work 24 hours a day as a service partner in the logistics area, with VW Autoeuropa and its suppliers and other companies in the automotive and non-automotive sectors, inside and outside the industrial park. We make assemblies of automotive components, quality control, inspections and rework, providing maintenance services for racks / containers, among others. Palmetal can offer all kinds of logistics services (except refrigerated goods), supported by a sophisticated information and communication system, which allows online access and adapted to the needs of each customer.
