About Palo Alto Museum
Opening in 2026 | Palo Alto Museum đ 300 Homer Avenue, Palo Alto, CA đ paloaltomuseum.org The Palo Alto Museum is a bold new cultural and civic institution at the heart of Silicon Valleyâwhere ideas that shape the world are born. Opening in 2026, the Museum is dedicated to exploring the people, stories, and breakthroughs from Palo Alto that have transformed how we live, work, and play. From Stanford University to the digital revolution, Palo Alto has been a launchpad for innovation across disciplinesâfrom education, medicine, social change, and entrepreneurship to music, film, food, and environmental sustainability. The Museum will bring these stories to life and build community connections through dynamic rotating exhibitions, immersive experiences, public events, educational programs, and a permanent collectionâincluding the historic City of Palo Alto archives. Located in the beautifully restored 1932 Roth Building, a 20,000-square-foot Spanish Colonial Revival landmark revitalized through a $14 million public-private partnership, the Museum is being developed with generous support from individual donors and county and federal agencies, in partnership with the City of Palo Alto. As a nonprofit organization, the Palo Alto Museum is more than a buildingâit will be a vibrant community hub and a platform for the next generation of big ideas. Join us on this journey. Follow for updates, opportunities, and behind-the-scenes stories as we bring the Museum to life.
