About Palynova Limited

A limited company in stratigraphic consultancy established in 1992 and based in Littleport, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. The consultancy was set up in order to provide state-of-art advice, and assistance to the petroleum industry, geological surveys and other institutions with respect to the application of biostratigraphy in the resolution of stratigraphic and palaeoenvironmental problems. Emphasis is given to the construction of high-resolution Tertiary biostratigrahic schemes, reservoir evaluation studies and sequence biostratigraphic studies in low latitude areas, especially in Southeast Asia and West Africa. Special emphasis is given to projects which involve training and integration with other disciplines such as sedimentology and seismic. The office is fully equipped with microscopes, computers and plotting facilities, an extensive library specialising in Southeast Asia, Indian, African and South American palynological literature and compilation facilities. A slide collection of recent South Asian pollen and spore preparations is also available. Palynova also offers 2-4 day courses for geologists and biostratigraphers on Tertiary biostratigraphy and sequence biostratigraphy.
