Paraboot (assemblage de « Para », un port d’Amazonie, d’où est importé le latex, et « boot », la curieuse chaussure, que Rémy Richard, le fondateur, a découvert aux Etats Unis) fabrique des chaussures haut de gamme pour l’homme et la femme depuis 1908. Paraboot est une marque de la société Richard-Pontvert. L’entreprise a tout récemment inauguré son nouvel atelier et son nouveau siège au pied des Alpes, entre Grenoble et Voiron, à quelques minutes des ateliers historiques. Paraboot est une référence tant au niveau de la solidité et du confort de ses modèles, que de la qualité de ses matières premières, et c’est avec fierté, d’ailleurs, que Paraboot fait partie des ambassadeurs du savoir-faire « Made in France ». Paraboot (a combination of « Para », a port in Amazonia where latex was exported from, and « boot », the interesting new shoe discovered by Rémy Richard, the founder of the brand, in the US) makes high-end shoes in France for men and women since 1908. Paraboot is a brand of the Richard-Pontvert company. The company has recently inaugurated its new factory, nested between Chartreuse and Vercors, at the foot of the Alps. Paraboot is a standard, thanks to the durability and confort of its styles, and also the quality of its raw materials. Paraboot is proud to belong to the “Made in France” ambassadors, thanks to its know-how.
